Greyhaven Announces New Album: This Bright and Beautiful World

Louisville native rock band Greyhaven has given fans the details surrounding their next album, This Bright and Beautiful World. The announcement follows Greyhaven's first piece of new music since 2019: their latest single, "ALL CANDY".

Greyhaven members
Greyhaven is Brent Mills (vocals), Nick Spencer (guitar), Johnny Muench (bass) and Ethan Spray (drums).

This Bright and Beautiful World will feature "ALL CANDY" as one of ten tracks making up the diverse record. The album intends to display Greyhaven's signature chaotic style as it complements their darker and deeper songwriting. That chaotic energy can be seen in "ALL CANDY" itself, as the track combines swamp-rock and post-hardcore styles to highlight melodic vocals and pulsating guitars. In reference to the single, vocalist Brent Millis elaborated:

“It’s been far too long since the last release so we wanted to bring something different to the table with this one. Shed all that bullshit you’re carrying around and lean into blissful ignorance for a moment; for better or worse. The one person you can’t run away from is you so you better learn to love it, all of it.”

These themes of resilience and transformation seem to carry heavy weight throughout the album itself as the tracks dive into depression and frustration. For listeners enduring a journey of self-discovery, The Bright and Beautiful World may act as a safe place, or a voice of validation.

The Bright and Beautiful World is now available for pre-order, and is set for release by Equal Vision Records on April 15th. Greyhaven kicked off a tour with Seeyouspacecowboy, Vatican, and Wristmeetrazor on November 5th in California. See below for the remaining tour dates!
