Neck Deep Releases Music Video for New Single "Fall"

Time to start up your next feel-good playlist, because summer is officially here. In a montage of skateboarding, live performances, and jumping off boats, Neck Deep is celebrating the season in their own way with a music video for their newest single "Fall".

The title could not match up with these clips perfectly enough. In skateboarding especially, hard dives come with the territory. Skaters know better than anyone how to get back up and try again. In this song, we see how falling (despite the negative connotation that comes along with the word) may not be the worst thing.

You can't help but feel a smile coming when watching this video. Regardless of age, it reminds us all of the memories we have from our lives pre-pandemic. Crowd members of the band's last tour are guaranteed to reminisce on that experience when watching these clips and feel that joy. We can't help but look forward to the day when we can start getting back to concerts and hangouts with our friends. This video hypes us up for that time's inevitable arrival.

Vocalist Ben Barlow acknowledges both feelings of fun and sentimentality, saying “Expect to get all nostalgic looking back on better days, but also to stoke up some excitement for when things are back to normal."

One of the things we love about the video itself is the spotlight on other skater. Cordano RusselBone StaloneJerrodAlex deCunhaTommy Corbridge and Roxana Howlett are amongst the faces we see showing off their skills.

Barlow stated, "We decided to reach out to skaters that we have met along our touring journey, that we believe deserve some recognition, and give them a platform to display their amazing talents." Neck Deep is no stranger to hyping up other talented individuals, and we see certainly that here.
